DO YOU ROADTWEET?

ROADTWEETS V 1.1 WITH FACEBOOK INTEGRATION IS NOW LIVE ON APP STORE!!

What is RoadTweeting?
RoadTweeting is using Twitter - and now Facebook - to send trip updates (tweets) to friends and family while traveling.

What is RoadTweets?
RoadTweets is a smartphone application that makes it super easy to capture and share travel experiences from the road.

How do I use RoadTweets?
If you have a Twitter account and an iPhone, visit the iPhone App Store here to download the current version of RoadTweets. If you don't have a Twitter account, you can sign up for one for free at http://twitter.com and begin tweeting in a matter of seconds!

Aren't there many Twitter iPhone apps? What makes RoadTweets different?
RoadTweets was designed with the traveler in mind to make it easy to send tweets and Facebook status updates in as few steps as possible. For example, we add text and location information directly into your tweets ("I'm sending a trip update from San Francisco, CA") so you can update your friends without having to type in any text at all! Simply tap 'send' and you're done! To edit or erase the text simply shake your iPhone and it disappears. These features are all designed to make RoadTweeting a breeze!

What RoadTweets isn't.
RoadTweets is not a full service Twitter client like the popular Twitterrific, TwitterFON, Tweetie and TweetDeck applications. RoadTweets is instead designed as a companion product that is streamlined for travelers, with functionality geared toward sending quick updates from the road. For photos RoadTweets utilizes the popular TwitPic service to easily share travel images within your tweets.

RoadTweets is NOT designed to be used while driving so please be safe and smart and do not use RoadTweets while operating a vehicle of any kind. To learn more about the hazards of tweeting while driving visit http://www.donttwive.blogspot.com.

Who operates RoadTweets?
RoadTweets was built and is operated by C2G, LLC, a Virginia-based Web Services company that also operates the popular Website www.cost2drive.com. Since launching in fall 2008, Cost2Drive has been featured on TV, radio and in over 20 major-market newspapers. It has also received hundreds of universally positive reviews across the blogosphere.
